Street Lighting

Report a problem with street lighting, from damaged columns to faulty lamps.

Our streetlights are maintained for us by a third-party specialist partner.

You must report problems with street lighting online directly with our maintenance partner as we are unable to accept reports of faults by phone or email.

You can report problems such as:

  • Columns leaning dangerously
  • Missing or open access panels
  • Exposed wires
  • Lamps on during the day
  • Lamps not working
  • Lamps switching on or off too early or late
  • Flashing or flickering lamps
  • Dim lamps

You can report a problem with lighting by searching with either the:

  • Asset number (usually printed on the column)
  • Street name
  • Postcode

Or you can move around on the interactive map

We are only responsible for street lighting on adopted highway. You can view our map of adopted highways to see which roads we maintain.
