This includes the following constructions:

- canopies or fixed awnings on a building
- upper floors that stick out over the property line into public space
- projecting signs permanently fixed to a building
- bay windows that go over the pavement
- large equipment built onto the building that hangs over the road
Apply online for your licence, which currently costs £520 to process the application and usually takes us up to 20 weekdays to process. Additional fees may apply.
