Shared Lives Newcastle is as much about sharing as about caring.

Shared Lives gives autistic adults and adults with learning disabilities the chance to get the care and support they need and live as part of a family.

Shared Lives carers share their home and their life with someone who needs help to live their best possible life.

The outcomes of Shared Lives are amazing. People living in Shared Lives tell us they feel settled, valued and like they belong, often for the first time in their life. While Shared Lives carers tell us how much they enjoy the role, how they feel like they are doing something worthwhile and making a real difference.

Shared Lives really are happier lives.
