Signing up for the garden waste service
New customers can sign up for a garden waste bin by completing our online form.
To get your reference number, enter your address into the form. The system will generate the number for you.
If you live in a new build, a property built within the last 18 months, please email our garden waste team. They will start the process for you. This can take about a week during peak times.
Existing customers
If you are a returning customer, you can renew your membership now. You will need your reference number.
Renew your garden waste membership
You will receive a renewal letter in January. It will have your reference number on it. If you lose your reference number, you will need to email us.
You can only renew the service while the scheme is open.
You need to pay and display your sticker before collections begin.
Assisted lift service
If you get help putting out your general green bin, you will also receive help with your garden waste bin. If you need this service but don't currently get it, please visit our page about the assisted lift service.
