Visitor permits cost £25 per year.

Paying for your permit

For approved permit applications you can:

• pay online
• call 0191 278 7878 and quote “parking payments”

The payment line opening times are 8am to 6pm Monday to Thursday and 8am to 4.30pm on a Friday.

While waiting for your permit, you can print your payment confirmation email and use it as a temporary parking permit for up to 14 days. Make sure your payment date and permit reference number are visible.
