Renewing your Blue Badge
You must renew your Blue Badge before the expiry date. You cannot complete a renewal application more than 12 weeks before the badge expiry date.
It is important to do this at least 10 weeks before your badge expires. If you do not do this in time, there is a risk your application will not be processed in time. We cannot prioritise your case if you are late renewing your badge.
Lost, stolen or damaged Blue Badges
If your Blue Badge has been lost, stolen, or damaged, you can report this online.
After reporting, you will need to complete a declaration before we send a replacement. You must pay £10 for the cost of the badge.
If your Blue Badge was:
- stolen, we need a crime reference number before we can send you a replacement badge
- damaged, you must return it to us before we will send you a replacement badge
Please send damaged Blue Badges to the below address:

Newcastle City Council,
Civic Centre,
