Newcastle City Council and Job Centre Plus are hosting the event which will feature hundreds of opportunities from a wide range of employers.
Job seekers in Newcastle and the surrounding area are being invited to the event at Newcastle’s Civic Centre on Tuesday 8 October between 10am and 3pm.
There will be a host of roles showcased including in construction, hospitality, retail, finance, health and care, and more with over 70 organisations attending including Morgan Sindall Construction, Thompsons of Prudhoe, Newcastle NHS Foundation Trust, Northumbria Water, Barclays, Tyne and Wear Archives and Museums and Newcastle City Council.
Attendees will be able to speak directly to employers about the opportunities, which include full or part time jobs, a step up a career ladder, seasonal work or apprenticeships. Advice and support will also be available on the day.

“Following on from the huge success of last year’s jobs fair, we are delighted to once again bring it back and provide a great opportunity to help people find work, training or make that step up to a different job and successful career.
“It is wonderful to have so many employers sign up to the event, once again showing their commitment to giving people in Newcastle and the surrounding area the chance to make progress on their careers, and ultimately a brighter future.”
