Getting help with digital skills

This course is free and available to Newcastle residents aged 18 and over.

It helps you get online for the first time and learn basic digital skills in a relaxed setting at the City Library.

Course content

This is a two-part course available all year. In this course, you will learn: 

• how to use a computer
• how to send an email
• how to search the internet
• how to attach photos and your CV to emails

Booking onto Basic Computer Training

You can book online. If you do not have an email address, you can use this email: getonline@newcastle.gov.uk.

If you are unable to book online yourself, you can either:

• visit your local library
• call us on 0191 277 8842. The phone line is open Monday to Friday, 10am to 2pm

We will send you a booking confirmation email and give you a reminder call one week before you start.
