High Heaton Library is easy to get to and has:
- bus stops on Newton Road for travel in both directions
- cycle racks outside the library
- limited parking on nearby streets (check signs for time limits)
- designated disabled parking bays directly outside the building for Blue Badge holders

- borrow or order a ‘Starting School Book Bag’ - each bag contains four books to help you start a conversation with your child about the school day and how they are feeling about this big change in their life
- Read, play, craft and make friends at Game Changers social club for 7-11 year olds - Thursdays, 3.30pm (term time)
- check out the 'Soundtrack of Your Life' booklet from Playlist for Life at our help point: this booklet helps people with dementia and their carers find special songs
- join Canny Crafters on Tuesdays from 11am to 12pm
