Getting to Fenham Library
Fenham Library is easy to get to and has:
- local bus stops in both directions outside the library (for bus numbers 36, 72, 63, and 87)
- a pocket park next to the library building
- cycle racks
- limited free on-street parking on Fenham Hall Drive, close to the library
We share the building with colleagues from Public Health, which enables the library to remain open for longer hours.

At Fenham Library, you can:

- browse and borrow books for adults and children
- printing and photocopying
- using a public computer and scanner for up to 3 hours a day

- reserving books, DVDs, toys, and board games
- advice on using our BorrowBox app for eBooks, eAudiobooks, and eMagazines
- use a freephone to contact other council services
- rooms for hire
- study space
The public computers are automatically turned off 15 minutes before closing time

- join the family Lego club: Fridays, 3:30pm to 4:30pm
- attend our Under 5 Storytime session: Mondays, 10:30am to 11am (term time only)
- borrow or order a ‘Starting School’ book bag: each bag contains 4 books to help you start a conversation with your child about the school day and how they feel about this big change
- Read, play, craft and make friends at Game Changers social club for 7-11 year olds - Mondays, 3.30pm (term time)
- Borrowing children’s board games
- check out the 'Soundtrack of Your Life' booklet from Playlist for Life at our help point: this booklet helps people with dementia and their carers find special songs
- attend a Knit and Crochet session on Fridays from 1pm to 3pm
- attend board Games & Lego for all on Saturdays from 11am to 1pm
