Blakelaw Library is a pop-up library service at Leisure United Blakelaw, next to Blakelaw Community Centre and café. It is easy to reach from various parts of the city:

- attend our under 5s Storytime session: Wednesdays, 10:30am to 11am and Fridays, 4pm to 4:30pm (during term times only)
- borrow or order a ‘Starting School’ book bag: each bag contains 4 books to help you start a conversation with your child about the school day and how they feel about this big change
- visit Universal Credit Support: Fridays, 2pm to 4pm
- learn about Newcastle’s history and heritage
- check out the 'Soundtrack of Your Life' booklet from Playlist for Life at our help point: this booklet helps people with dementia and their carers find special songs
