Library at Home brings the joy of reading to your doorstep.

If you are unable to access your local library in person, Newcastle Libraries can offer a monthly home delivery of a selection of books, audiobooks, and DVDs tailored to your tastes.

Sign up for this free service and enjoy the magic of your library at home. 

To sign up, complete an application form online.

British Wireless for the Blind Fund

Newcastle Libraries works with the British Wireless for the Blind Fund. They offer easy-to-use audio equipment for people with sight loss. You can borrow this equipment for free if you:

  • live in the UK
  • are registered blind or partially sighted
  • are over 8 years old
  • get a means-tested benefit
