Home delivery service

Newcastle Libraries can bring books or audiobooks to your door every month.

You can use this service if you:

  • can't visit the library because you're ill (permanently or temporarily)
  • have a permanent disability
  • live in Blakelaw and your local library is closed

British Wireless for the Blind Fund

Newcastle Libraries works with the British Wireless for the Blind Fund. They offer easy-to-use audio equipment for people with sight loss. You can borrow this equipment for free if you:

  • live in the UK
  • are registered blind or partially sighted
  • are over 8 years old
  • get a means-tested benefit
