Investing in communities

We continually invest in our homes and neighbourhoods, including improvements to properties and new developments, funding and support for community groups and working with residents to shape our services.

Planned improvements to properties

We work together with customers to develop our long term investment programme and keep our homes desirable and modern.

Working with Newcastle City Council, we continually deliver large scale investment programmes to make sure our properties are in good repair and do not fall below the Modern Homes standard, along with managing re-modelling, new build, and environmental projects across the city.

Consultation is carried out with customers to ensure we are meeting their needs through organised events, home visits, and by letter.

Examples of schemes include:

  • Bathroom and kitchen upgrades
  • Cavity wall insulation
  • Boiler replacement schemes
  • Lifts and intercom systems
  • Roof and window replacements

When will my home be improved?

If we are due to commence work on your property or your street, we will write to you beforehand to inform you of the work that will take place and when, along with a named contact who you can get in touch with to answer any questions you may have.

To find out if your home is due to be improved during the next 12 months, please contact us:
