Help to Make a Complaint

If you are not comfortable making the complaint yourself, you can ask a friend or relative to contact Adult Social Care for you.

You can ask an independent person or organisation for advice. They may be able to act on your behalf. These services include:

Independent Advocacy Service

Your local Councillor or MP

Citizens Advice Newcastle

A Solicitor

Customer Relations Team

The Customer Relations Team is impartial from other council services. Their role is to listen to your concerns, issues, or complaints about council services and consider the best way forward for you.

If you have not been successful in finding a resolution, you can contact the Customer Relations Teams on 0191 2787878 and ask for Complaints.

The team are available Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 4.30pm, a messaging service is available out of hours.
