It is important to tell us if there is a change in tenancy. Tenants do not always tell us straight away when they have moved into or out of a property.
Landlords are liable for council tax when a property is empty and there is no signed tenancy agreement in place.
As a landlord it is your duty to advise us within 21 days of a tenant moving in to or out of a property which you own by completing the form below providing as much detail as possible.
Please note that we will only process changes to tenancies that have already occurred or are due to commence within the next 21 days. Any changes that are more than 21 days in advance will not be processed. You should advise at the time when the tenancy change occurs to prevent records being updated incorrectly.
