Our City Operations, Neighbourhoods and Regulatory Services directorate brings together some of the most visible services for residents, communities and businesses including:

• business management (including democratic services)
• facilities services and civic management
• ICT
• local services and waste management (including street cleaning, repairs and maintenance and pest control)
• operations (including building control, energy services and parking)
• public safety and regulation (including environmental protection, licensing and trading standards)

Biography

Christine Herriot is our director of Operations and Regulatory Services.

Christine has a strong track record of transformational leadership, including the implementation of organisational wide improvement and culture change programmes.

Christine graduated from the Open University in 2003 with an MBA. She manages a workforce of around 1700 staff.
