We will no longer accept paper-based applications.
When to apply
We accept applications on a rolling basis.
You should apply at least 28 days before you require the funding.
However, ward budgets may be spent before the end of the year, so we recommend applying earlier (especially if you are applying for a large proportion of the ward’s budget).
Ward councillors do not normally consider applications between January and May. Submit your application before December if your project will take place between January - May the following year.
Find out your application result
You can check the status of your application within the application portal.
Once the ward committees have reviewed your application, you will receive an email with the results of your application and the reasons for the decision.
If successful, the email will state how much funding you will receive and explain any conditions the ward committee have set.
If you receive more than £500, we will also send you a monitoring form which you must complete and submit once your project is complete.
We will transfer the funding directly into your bank account within 14 days of the decision being made.
