Applying for a ward committee grant

We are now accepting applications for Ward Committee Grant Funding for 2026/27. 

We no longer accept paper applications. All applications must be made using our online form.

When to apply

You should apply at least 28 days before you require the funding. 

However, ward budgets may be spent before the end of the year, so we recommend applying earlier (especially if you are applying for a large proportion of the ward’s budget). 

The deadline for applications for 2026-27 will be 31 December 2026. 

If you are planning events or activities that will take place between January and the end of May 2027 you should submit your application before 31 December 2026.

Find out your application result

You can check the status of your application within the application portal. 

Once the ward committees have reviewed your application, you will receive an email with the results of your application and the reasons for the decision.

If successful, the email will state how much funding you will receive and explain any conditions the ward committee have set. 

If you receive more than £500, we will also send you a monitoring form which you must complete and submit once your project is complete.

We will transfer the funding directly into your bank account within 14 days of the decision being made.
