Funding for voluntary and community organisations

Support to help voluntary and community (VCS) organisations run projects and events for Newcastle residents.

Grants of up to £25,000 for projects delivered by the voluntary, community and social enterprise sector in Newcastle.

Grants of up to £5,000 for grassroots projects delivered by the voluntary, community and social enterprise sector to communities in Newcastle.

Support for activities for 13 to 19 year olds (or up to 25 for young people with special educational needs and disabilities)

Funding for smaller projects or events which focus on specific neighbourhoods or up to four council ward areas.

£80 million of Government funding for Elswick, Walker, Fawdon, and Throckley, Newburn and Walbottle.
