Children and young people in care

Corporate parenting means that the "parenting" of our children in care is a collective process. The whole council, its employees, elected members and partner agencies are responsible for providing the best possible care.

Our Voice and Influence Team run monthly participation groups for care experienced children and young people. These groups provide the space for children in care and care leavers to have a voice in decision making. Read more about how to get involved below.
