Newcastle Director of Public Health annual reports

Overview

Every year our Director of Public Health must produce and publish an independent annual report about how the lives of people in Newcastle are affected by a particular issue.

The report aims to:

  • inform residents about the health of their communities
  • identify areas of specific concern
  • make recommendations for change

In recent years topics have included:

  • giving children the best start in life
  • healthy weight
  • growing up and getting older
