Council tax applies to domestic properties and it is paid by residents or owners. The amount you pay is based on the value of the property, at 1991 prices.
Council tax is just 21 percent of our total income. In 2023 to 2024 council tax is expected to raise £131.8 million towards the cost of providing services to our communities.
