What is a renewal of vows ceremony?

A renewal of vows ceremony is a wonderful way of celebrating a special anniversary of the date of your marriage or civil partnership.

It is also a good opportunity if you were married abroad for you to celebrate with family and friends who were unable travel to the ceremony.

Booking your ceremony

A renewal of vows ceremony can take place at Newcastle Register Office or any of the venues with an approved premises licence. Details can be found in our:

There is a cost to booking a ceremony, which varies depending on:

• where your ceremony takes place
• the day of the week it is held on
