Day services are places that you can go for full days or half a days, where you can:
- meet new people
- enjoy a meal and join in social activities
- learn new skills
- get care and support, if you need it
- get transport to and from the centre
There is a cost to use these services. You can pay for these privately or speak to Adult Social CarePoint at Newcastle City Council to find out more.
Day services in Newcastle include:
- St Anthony of Padua for older people, people with physical or mental health needs
- The Welford Centre for people with learning disabilities and autism. You need to be referred by Adult Social Care to use this service.
