Help to live at home

Day services are places that you can go for full days or half a days, where you can:

• meet new people
• enjoy a meal and join in social activities
• learn new skills
• get care and support, if you need it
• get transport to and from the centre

There is a cost to use these services. You can pay for these privately or speak to Adult Social Care at Newcastle City Council to find out more.  

Day services in Newcastle include:

• The Grange for older people 
• St Anthony of Padua for older people, people with physical or mental health needs
• The Bradbury centre for people with dementia
• The Welford Centre for people with learning disabilities and autism. You need to be referred to Adult Social Care to use this service.
