Supported Employment Service

The Supported Employment Service is part of Newcastle City Council. We help people who face barriers to employment, to find and stay in work.  We help people to think about their career goals and how to achieve them. Our support includes:

  • Help to understand existing skills and how they are useful to the jobs market, even if someone has been out of work for a long time
  • Help to write a CV and apply for jobs online
  • Help to get ready for interviews
  • Work experience
  • Help to get qualifications
  • Ongoing help so people stay in work

The Supported Employment Service can also offer training and work experience placements at their in-house services Natures Landscapes and FoodWorks.
