Adult care services provided by Newcastle City Council

There are a range of care services that are provided by Newcastle City Council for people with specific needs. This includes services for people with:

• mental health issues
• a learning disability or autistic people
• Shared Lives
• recovering after an illness, injury or stay in hospital
• sensory support needs or an impairment

To use these services you will be referred by a health professional or Adult Social Care. The type of support that you are given will depend on what you need.
